LC Singh is a distinguished alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. A pioneer in the field of information technology, he performed key roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). At the time of leaving the company, he was the Senior Vice President, in charge of operations for UK, South Africa, and the Middle East. In addition, he also looked after marketing, public relations and brand building. He briefly worked with Zensar Technologies as President and CEO. He founded Nihilent in 2000.

In a short span of few years, Nihilent has emerged as one of the most creative consulting and IT companies in India. LC is the author of Nihilent’s patented change management framework MC³. LC is a Fellow of The Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI) and Computer Society of India (CSI), and a certified Due Diligence Professional (CDDP). He is an internationally recognized thought leader on design & systems thinking, and an invited speaker at global conferences on Design Thinking, Change Management, and Digital Disruption. He scripted and produced the movie ‘Banaras, A mystic love story. He continues to be a student of ontology and epistemology.

Minoo D Dastur, a Chartered Management Consultant with post-graduation in Business Management, is a Co-founder of Nihilent. He is President and CEO and serves as an Executive Director on Nihilent’s global board.

As with most senior executives in the Nihilent management team, he also consults at a strategic level on issues such as strategy implementation, balanced scorecards, metrics and measurement, organizational alignment, performance management, apart from being actively involved in reviewing and managing the large software delivery projects. He has a keen interest in continually re-evaluating software and services delivery as an engineering science and has been deeply involved in evolving a flexible delivery model which adapts best practice in each discipline to unique user requirements while adhering to the strictest principles of quality management.

His driving passion is the thirst for excellence and innovation that is the common thread amongst all Nihilentians and powers Nihilent’ s ability to produce a delivery model that evolves, over time, for each client and provides the client with a uniquely tailored fit. Beginning his career in the Information Systems industry in 1983, he has worked in most aspects of the systems development and consulting businesses and was intimately involved in the management and execution of several mega-projects.

Between 1986 and 2000, Minoo had an extremely successful stint with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He headed the company’s Corporate Banking Group and was a key player in the evolution of the banking and financial services business. In the mid-nineties he established TCS’s operations in South Africa and negotiated a joint venture with South Africa’s most active IT business group – Dimension Data, which has a global footprint. He was also responsible for establishing the Corporate Marketing group for TCS.

Minoo has served as the National General Secretary of the Institute of Management Consultants India and has also been an international referee. He is an active member of the IEEE, the ACM, the BMA, the CSI, and similar associations and is closely involved in steering the prestigious Indian e-Governance awards jointly with the CSI. He is also the Chairman of the Indo-South African Chamber in India.

Dr. Tripathi is the President of the University of Buffalo. He has rich experience in academics and research including – Professor of Computer Science at University of Maryland, Dean of the Bourns College of Engineering at University of California, Riverside, and Provost at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Tripathi has been involved in substantial funded research and published more than 200 scholarly papers, supervised doctoral students. He has served on program committees of numerous international conferences. He also signed MoU with former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to establish Indo-US University Collaborative Initiative in Higher Education and Research.

Ashok Kini is a former managing director of State Bank of India, with a tenure of 37 years. He has extensive exposure to lending activities in retail, SME, agricultural and industrial finance. Ashok worked as a consultant to several organizations post retirement, including McKinsey India, TCS, Corporation Bank and Union Bank of India. Apart from Nihilent, he is a member of Board of Directors of UTI Asset Management Company, Gulf Oil Corporation and Financial Information Network & Operations Ltd.

Dr. Apurva Pradeep Joshi holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from University of Pune. She has passed the executive program examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the professional competence examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has completed a certified bank forensic accounting course, a certified forensic accounting professional course, and a certified anti-money laundering expert course conducted by the India Forensic. She has participated in the program on management consulting for acquiring and retaining clients hosted by the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. She has authored the book “Students’ Handbook on Forensic Accounting”. She was also one of the 10 entrepreneurs who were featured in the book Arise Awake, written by Rashmi Bansal.

A Chartered and Cost Accountant with a Masters in International Business from IIFT Delhi, India, Shubho has over 25 years of experience in international business, finance, and allied activities in the telecom, IT and ITES sectors. Before joining Nihilent, Shubho was associated with NIIT Technologies Limited as Controller – International Accounts. He has headed various successful assignments, both in India and overseas during stints at NIIT Technologies, Samsung, Usha Martin, Modi-Telstra and Haldia Petrochemicals.
